Senior Product Designer
As a Product Designer at Zello, you will work with fellow designers to design new features from the ground up. From foundational exploration and research through prototyping and testing, you’ll help your (and our) vision come to life. Whereas many designers approach their work with a heuristic analysis, you balance heuristics with research. Our 175+ million users span all levels of technical prowess and ability, and we’ve learned that what’s best for many users isn’t what’s best for others. You'll see projects through in all their forms by analyzing a problem space, researching competitors, proposing solutions, usability testing your designs, revising, revising more, and finally handing off for development.

Who you are
You have 5+ years of design experience.
You value collaboration and drive it by inviting diverse colleagues into the design process.
You value craft — you take the birdseye to define a solution and comfortably get into the minutia to draw icons, write redlines, and test new builds.
You employ a hybrid of heuristics and inductive research. There are usability basics that apply to all users, but the story doesn’t end there.
You have a background in digital products with complex, diverse user bases. Our app serves a variety of users, from frontline workers to HAM radio enthusiasts to Latin American teens.
You build low-fidelity prototypes in Figma, Principle, or a comparable tool.
You build high-fidelity prototypes in Origami (preferable) or a comparable tool.
You’re a Figma expert.
You’re familiar with HTML, CSS, and JS.
You’re familiar with Xcode and Android Studio.
