2020 NBA All Star Chicago Branding

A fun little self-initiated project that kinda kept going...I was missing the old @nba All-Star logos that had some personality and flavor of the host city. (one of my faves is Toronto in 2016). So I decided to take a stab for Chicago. I started with a typical skyline, but it felt too expected. I eventually arrived at this approach, taking inspiration from Chicago signage, especially the Chicago Theater. After all, the All-star game is all about the show!
