Account Executives’ work lives inside an Inbox. Yet, their primary tool is an email app which isn’t tailored to their specific needs. Chili Piper noticed that and saw it as an opportunity for innovation. They asked us to help them turn their idea into a real thing, so we started our contribution with building the essentials.
?? What was the challenge?
Our early adopters were mainly using Gmail or Outlook. Being aware of that we had to take extra care to make their transition from these services to the Chili Piper Inbox as smooth as possible.

We designed solid fundamentals using well-known patterns and then carefully introduced features that align with Chili Piper’s value proposition.
?? What have we learnt?
Not all users have a 15” MacBook Pro. Our work on 12” models with numerous browser tabs opened in non-full screen mode. Keeping that in mind, we designed for a smaller resolution to make sure that the content would fit their screens. We obviously had to get used to it, but it was a rewarding move.

Founded in 2016, Chili Piper was profitable just after 9 months in business, all bootstrapped! Since then they’ve been innovating the way revenue teams work by building products that are custom-tailored to their needs.

During our long-lasting collaboration we contributed in various ways, from designing digital products to creating print materials for conferences. Our developers also created the landing page and helped with other code-based work.
