Autonomous Police Drone

I posted this concept in 2017 about creating a User Interface for autonomous police drones to help prevent and reduce incidents of crimes. With coronavirus responsible for policing shortages from sickness and lack of PPE, autonomous police cars and drones could help enforce lockdowns and protect the public without any health risk to police officers.

In this scenario an autonomous police car responds to a threat identified by an autonomous drone, The drone can neutralise the assailant allowing the officer to make the arrest while the suspect is incapacitated. I envisage this reducing risk and fatigue for police officers.
