Homepage Hero Animation

I have fallen in love with product abstraction illustration over the last year or so. It's great to help communicate the gist or the essence of functionality without getting too caught up on the exact UI. This lets the UI evolve and slowly iterate over time with a far lower risk of marketing materials being out of date for being pedantic.

Also, animating various elements on the abstraction level allows for slightly more complex events to take place.

In the hero, we've been kicking around the idea of showing a live tail, and an automated Slack alert based off of parameters. LogDNA in this mini-story finds an interesting or problematic event in a live log, and shoots out an automated alert to Slack.

This was a quick concept I've been working on and we'll see what the team has for feedback! Button hover states just to show off a lil ;).
