    I created vector images of dog toys awhile back using Adobe Illustrator and finally got to animate it! On Adobe Illustrator, I created layers off of the eyes, front and back of the octopuses. Next, I exported the layers onto After Effects where I used the Puppet Tool and added Deform Pins around the legs to create movement. For their "jet propulsion" movement, I simply moved the positions of the front and back to go up and down slowly. For the Blue Octopus, I had 16 layers for the eyes with 5 unique layers in order for it to blink properly and move side to side. For the Green Octopus, I only had 1 layer and added the animation by moving the position of the eyeball. Lastly, I added a ripple effect from Tutorial I found on Youtube!
