Twitch – Mobile application
Hey everyone! ????
I've always been amazed by the phenomena of the E-Sports. I used to play Counter-Strike, League of Legends, and many more titles in the past, spending a crazy amount of hours proving myself in friendly matches or taking up new challenges by playing on leagues like ESL – and I loved it. Currently, due to limited time, I'm catching up with what's going on in E-Sports more passively, by watching streams.
I was always fascinated by how Twitch gives everyone easy access to follow streamers as well as to watch the biggest e-sport events, allowing them to cheer for their favorite teams who fight for their pride and glory.
And I can only imagine how hard everyone at Twitch works to deliver a seamless experience to each and every platform's user. But sometimes I wish I could get more information about my favorite teams or upcoming events worth watching.
That's why I decided to take a quick shot at how Twitch could add the coverage feature of such important events, like the one that is happening right now – the League of Legends World Championship 2020.
How cool it would be to get information on upcoming matches right after you open the mobile application? Or getting more insights about the on-going game (like the result) without opening a stream? Imagine TSM winning over G2 – wouldn't it be surprising and encourage you to watch the game to see how could this even happen? ??
Personally, I think the future is to build applications based on personalized content that allows establishing a strong relationship with the user. It's just a small piece, but it could have a strong chance to increase the overall engagement (especially during major events).
I'm really curious about your thoughts on that matter! Have a great day y'all and remember – if you're not following our team, it's a perfect moment to visit our team profile and hit the Follow button, as the more cool stuff is coming soon! ??
