Obsidian Control Systems

Partnering with our friends at Elation Professional, La Visual developed a new name and an identity system for a newly acquired line of professional lighting controllers. The new brand name — Obsidian — highlighted the rebirth of the brand while joining the order of technology with the chaos of artistic expression. Leaning on the sci-fi genre for the overall system, the Obsidian identity was inspired by both the ordered lines and chaotic patterns of volcanic rock.
