New global navigation ??

Today, we mix global actions and navigation with app level actions and navigation in one sidebar. This makes for a less discoverable app switching and search experience.

By grouping app switching, search, and settings we have a global Front architecture that frames the app content below it. Moving to this model, we provide a stronger entry point to our suite of apps — showing off the power of Front. We also elevate search which is our 2nd most used feature in Front after composing messages!
