I'm Beautiful & I'm Never Going To Die

A new sticker design for my friends inspired by a hilarious story of one of our mom's saying this sentence as a child in front of a mirror. Also, it's inspired by Trixie Mattel's hand mirror, because ~gay~.

I've been sketching digitally a lot in the past year for my day-to-day job, and that more consistent practice has been super key in becoming more confident with my ability to draw and render ideas. This design started in Adobe Fresco and was honed in Illustrator for the sticker file! (I'm sorry but I cannot take on learning Procreate. I also use a trackpad instead of a mouse on desktop. I make no claims to be a perfect designer!) Check out my sketching process at the end of this carousel as well as the final holographic stickers. This was my first time printing on holo with a full color design, and I'm not entirely happy with my results. But, in a certain light, this still sparks joy, which, for me, is what design should be all about.

My closest friends are headed to Dallas this weekend for a 'lil reunion after the fog of the past few years. I'm surprising them with these, so shhhh until then.
