I have been designing iconography for the DroidDepot app. See below for the inspiration behind each icon design.

Home Icon

The home icon is based on Luke Skywalker's home on Tatooine from Star Wars Episode 4. "If they traced the robots here, they may have learned who they sold them to... and that would lead them back... home."

Droids Icon

The Droids icon is based on the head of BB8 from Star Wars Episode 7. "BEEP-BOOP-BEEP"

Dealers Icon

The dealers icon I based on the storefronts from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park. Dealers in the Star Wars universe will be base on Watto the Toydarian junk dealer, Jawas and their Sandcrawler, and Unkar Plutt the junk boss from Jakku. "Mind tricks don't work on me. Only money."

Search Icon

The search icon I based on Luke Skywalker's binoculars from Star Wars Episode IV. "Wait a second. They're Sandpeople, all right. I can see one of them now."

Program Icon

The programming icon is base on the center area of C3PO's torso. "I suppose you're programmed for etiquette and protocol." "Sir, my first job was programming binary load lifters."

Repairs Icon

The repairs icon is based on R2D2's tools. "Beep Beep Be Deep Boop!"

Help Icon

The help icon is based on the comlink unit from Star Wars Episode IV. "Shut down all the garbage mashers on the detention level. Do you copy? Shut down all the garbage mashers on the detention level!"
