SOUND ON! I decided to make a series of animations that describe the summer through various scenes. Here is the first one with a little bit of a breakdown below.

I have done everything from sketching, color, animation, and sound, and I had a lot of fun working on it :) Stay tuned for the next!

Sketch

Here is a clean sketch that I use for my next stage of looking for color.

Color Testing

I quickly add and mix colors in Procreate and create small thumbnails.

I liked both versions, but the top one has more depth in terms of nuances.

Cleanup and Details

After choosing the final version I took it to Adobe Illustrator and created vector shapes out of everything. I also added some details like shadows and gradients to give it more depth.
