ASL | IBM Illustration

Taking static illustrations and introducing motion often requires solving depth and perspective issues not present in the original design. This is particularly true with depictions of hands, as seen here.

Adapted from an IBM illustration series, the motion of the hand seeks to maintain the original design's minimal and iconic presentation. The underlying hand rig is also flexible enough to be used for the full ASL alphabet.
