In celebration of 10 years (to this day) of?Misc. Goods Co., we're launching a new campaign to better the product that started it all ... the back bone of my company. A fully colored version of our re-drawn playing cards.
Why did it take so long? ... I'm color blind!Which means that trying to co-ordinate colored compositions is a nightmare.
That's why I asked my friends Brent Schoepf, Dan Christofferson and Damien Correll to help me. All three ... masterful with color and incredibly generous.So ... after a decade of running Misc., this project feels like a good expression of who I am today compared to who I was 10 years ago.Now more than ever, I lean on other people and do it with joy. Keeping my head down while working, pushing forward with much less to prove.
