FigChallenge Improving design skills through challenges
FigChallenge: What's New?I'm so thrilled to announce some exciting updates to our app ????
TL;DR: There is a video and complete screenshots about the updates here.
?? Public user profiles
You can now add your social links to your profile, making it easier for you to connect with other designers. By clicking on other users' profiles, you can view their social media accounts, and gain insights into their app usage.
?? Show off your hard work with our new Achievements section
Also located within the user profile, this section includes badges such as Profile Pro, Challenger, Design Hero, Early Bird, and Friend Magnet. Each badge has distinct levels, and you can track your progress as you work towards more challenging and exciting accomplishments! To explore these new features, visit your profile or check out the competition. ??
??Here's a summary of additional improvements we've made:
1. Difficulty Level: In response to your feedback, we've replaced the star system with tags. This change eliminates confusion and increases visibility.
2. Challenges Tab: We've decluttered this tab by relocating buttons within each challenge page, adding indicators for public or private challenges, and moving some functionalities like challenge share, edit, and delete to the three-dot menu on the challenge card. We acknowledge that this tab still requires further enhancements, and we welcome your thoughts and suggestions.
??Last but not least, we've added more challenges with different levels and deadlines, focusing on fostering a daily design habit. Join our waitlist for the #AprilDesignChallenge. We plan to introduce even more challenges in the future, and you'll also be able to create your own as always.
March Update
We created the app and you can join here!
FigChallenge is a web app that designers can join or create design challenges there. You can read more about it here.
Introducing Figchallenge!
An app designed specifically for designers looking to challenge themselves and become better.
Designers are constantly seeking ways to improve their skills, and one of the best ways to do so is through social accountability. By setting challenges for ourselves and sharing our progress on social media platforms like Dribbble, Twitter, and LinkedIn, we are able to motivate ourselves to push harder and achieve more. But what if we could take this a step further and involve our friends in the process?
The concept is simple: create a challenge, invite friends to participate, and work together to achieve the goal. The first designer to complete the challenge earns stars and can showcase their work with a link, while all participants receive a notification. The app gamifies the design challenge process, making it more fun and motivating for designers.
