The Mental Health Website
Hey there! I'm excited to tell you about a project that I was a part of last year - the Good Thinking project that was approved by the NHS (National Health Service in England). It offers free psychological support and recommendations to anyone who needs it.
The website has a range of questionnaires that cover various topics like sleep, anxiety, depression, stress, and more. Once you complete a questionnaire, you'll receive recommendations for further actions, such as seeing a psychotherapist. There are also plenty of resources like articles, podcasts, workbooks, and recommended apps to help maintain your mental health.
I worked on this project with the coolest illustrator, and our main goal was to create a website that was simple and accessible for as many people as possible. We wanted to make sure that it was easy to navigate, with readable text and contrasting colors. We also made sure that the illustrations were emotionally neutral so that they wouldn't affect the user's mood or state. That's why you won't see any faces in the illustrations! We tried to include a diverse range of social groups, so that everyone would feel represented and included.
I'm extremely proud of the Good Thinking project, and I hope that it can help many people who need it.
Thanks to the developers from SOHO Strategy who we worked with to bring the project to life!
