Betty's Bar and Grill Signage

Growing up we had a bar in the basement that the previous owner Robert had installed. The ceiling and the floor had matching carpet and a homemade bar with liquor labels shellacked on top. I quickly named this area “Betty’s Bar & Grill”. My friends would come over and we’d play “bar” for hours. Family friends would drop off empty booze bottles for Betty’s Bar & Grill and for Christmas I’d be gifted plastic wine glasses and order notepads. I smoked so many fake cigarettes with a towel over my shoulder. Fast forward a few decades and I’m still so drawn to the everyday things in life. Sometimes an order form is so beautiful it makes my mind explode.
