Every summer, Coram Deo Church in Omaha Nebraska works its way through a section of the Psalms as a congregation. I read through the Psalms and pulled out imagery from them: Sheep, Arrows, Swords, Trumpets, Lyre, Bulls, Jackals, Hyssop branches.

I worked up a quick thumbnail sketch and shared it with the client for approval. They loved the direction!

Four hours later, I had this detailed drawing in Procreate. I liked the rough hand-drawn feel of it, so I simply image-traced the drawing in illustrator, fine-tuned the vector shapes a bit, and then got into color.

This is the square, social media version of the graphic.
