In this project I had to explain the term Foodscape as clearly as possible. Which includes all the factors that are involved in a foodstuff production (fish as an example): the characteristics of the place, the production practices, the policies and economic forces that affect its production and distribution, and the communities and cultures involved along the way. This mosaic of factors is divided into three large groups: Socioeconomic, Agronomic and Biophisical.

Defining foodscapes gives community leaders, policymakers, farmers, retailers, restaurateurs and others a common framework to discuss — and improve — global food production.
