Studio Bartlett and Lyric, Inc. commissioned Steven Noble to render a new customized woodcutillustration for a packaging label called Old Log Cabin located in the Pacific Northwest. This bourbon whiskey brand’s roots reach deep into American history, back to 1840, when E.G. Booz –?a young man of 16 at the time –?made his first batch of liquid goodness demanded by a thirsty community. The illustration depictsa traditional old logo cabin in the woods with smoke coming out of the chimney created in a woodcut etching style.
