I indulged in a hour-ish redesign of one of GitHub staples: GitHub desktop

A simple interface primed for our latest UI render style

Here you can spot an idea DIFF view design, less color heavy promoting (to my eye at least) a more focused less noisy read of the code.

Another major visual difference it the reduction on separator creating more room between element while maintaining hierarchy.
