MongoDB Iconography

Following our brand refresh with agency Huge, our task was to update around 280 brand icons into our new style, redrawing each as we adopted to a new grid. We also created a Figma library with documentation and even an icon builder to set up our new icon system in an effort to provide consistency across all designers on our team in creating new icons in the future.

The new visual concept for the icon style is based around an adaptable circular grid. The underlying circles of the grid can be moved around, rotated and repositioned to create whatever shapes are needed for iconography.
