Howdy Ranch: UI Kit
A while back, André Forni and I had fun developing a side project called Howdy Ranch, a tower defense game where a rancher has to protect his ranch from an alien invasion using all the rustic technology he has at his disposal.
It was fun to use the rancher's universe as inspiration and what he had at his disposal to fight the aliens to imagine the UI and how that elements and objects could be visually translated into a functional UI like buttons, icons, menus and so on.
Like many side projects, it's very likely that this game will never be finished ?? But that's okay, really! Not every side project needs to be measured by released or not released, finished or not finished.
It fulfilled its role of entertaining and mainly teaching us a lot of important lessons that we'll use on future side projects, so I think it was enough for this one.
So just sharing part of the UI I made for the project, still proud of it! :)
