BUSINESS CHALLENGE
The challenges included the need for digitalisation, efficient assortment planning, seamless sharing, and effective sales processes. The primary tool, resembling an Excel-like interface with visual components, targeted merchandisers for line and assortment planning.The primary goal was to build a tool facilitating connectivity within development teams throughout the initial line development life cycle. The emphasis was on ensuring that teams have access to the most up-to-date data as changes occur, thereby mitigating challenges related to collaboration, data-image disconnection, and manual updates.
SOLUTION SUMMARY
We offered the client a comprehensive solution, within which we developed a platform with three key workspaces:Line planning: create and manage line plans, push data into a visual space, real-time data synchronisation, and ability to collapse data by region and channel.Presentation: create compelling product presentations with marketing content, infinite whiteboard, collaboration capability, hybrid lineup planning feature.Sandbox: virtual recreation of the assortment process, ability to play with configurations, infinite whiteboard, collaboration feature.We also provided integration with PLM systems, enabling seamless data exchange between the platform and PLM systems and automatic information updating.
