Bottom Navigation Bar Exploration

A few days ago Google added some new components to its Material Design guideline.
With the Bottom Navigation bar (https://www.google.com/design/spec/components/bottom-navigation.html) we are finally walking together with iOS to a more consistent use of mobile apps.
This reduces the bridge between Android and iOS apps, and from a material design fan, this sounds awesome.

Best of both worlds!
