Minimal Homepage and Info-Drawer

Happy to show what we've been baking during the past month. Our focus was on the app's homepage and the first-time-user experience.

We could have improved our onboarding, or sent tutorial emails or created a wizard of sorts. Instead, we decided to introduce a new lightweight element: the informational drawer. The first-time-user will land on a screen that gives an overview of what TaskRabbit is, and by swiping up the user will land on this new minimal homepage.

It consists of a very simple question: "What do you need help with?" and it guides the user through the creation of their task.

What about users who are not ready to create a task yet? No problem, with an extra scroll they'll be able to get inspired through a list of possible tasks you can create on TaskRabbit!
