UI Challenge, Music Player

This month for the Visionary Services' monthly UI Challenge, we explored designs for music players.

I wanted to really feature the album artwork. But when the song is playing, I thought a cool, engaging feature would be to have facts about the song or album appear, a la Popup Video.

I know Spotify does something like this in their app. But this would possibly pull from interviews and online resources and then link the user to them to explore more.

For example, I didn't know Panic! at the Disco front man Brendon Urie was in Kinky Boots on Broadway. Now, I listen to the album a bit differently and compare it their past album.
