Atlassian | The Design Genome Project

Rolling out the first illustration of 2019 for The Design Genome Project’s next report: Atlassian.

Atlassian’s design practice centers around the idea of “designing across the seams,” which is a pretty cool analogy for making sure there are no silos across disciplines. As you’ll see in the report, there are a few other interesting bits about this company—like the “sparring” technique they use to ensure customer journeys are cohesive and delightful.

In terms of visuals, the idea of patching teams together to create one, unified product was very inspiring. Head over and check out the rest of the report—there’s a lot of great stuff to learn from this team’s “design DNA.”
