Communion Specialty Foods is a business that focuses on creating fermented ingredients for restaurants and cooks. The name 'Communion' comes from an idea of sharing feelings and ideas at both a spiritual and mental level. We wanted to allude to the religious undertones, but keep focus on the concept of sharing. The layout of the word mark was to pay homage to Japanese design, from which the fermentation process for the ingredients came.
