Gatorade Redesign Idea

Thanks for all of your feedback and help. I landed on this option. Please check out the attachments to see a packaging mock-up as well as a reversed version.

+ The bolt is now inspired by the original bolt shape
+ It fixes any reference to Pacman
+ The bolt is larger + keeps the legibility of both the G and the bolt
+It ads space between the G and bolt so that it can be one color when needed

Next I'm going to blow this out into a full case study. Thanks for coming along for the ride. It's fun to share the process with all of you. You guys add so much.
