Olympic Sports Website

What if Tokyo 2020's new website could look and feel something like this? We wanted to bring the dynamism and energy of the sports to life so we thought it’ll be fun to see how a continuous animation sequence might interact through the lens of UI design in this immersive number. Instead of horizontal parallax, we decided to work against the grain to explore it in terms of depth - creating a somewhat “explosive” effect.
