Julius Caesar - Shakespeare Poster Design

Here's a poster for Julius Caesar, a part of my series of designs for Shakespeare's classic plays.

This poster has a classical roman vibe with its red and gold color scheme, along with the shapes of roman weaponry, coinage, and serpents.

Centrally pictured is the portrait of the titular character Julius Caesar himself - contained within the shape of an ancient roman dagger not unlike the one used to kill Caesar.

The screaming head of Medusa is found on his chestplate, serving as a reminder of the raw brutality of this play and the events that surrounded Caesar's life.
