UX/UI Redesign for SaaS application
We are building SchoolCal, a SaaS enterprise application that streamlines and synchronizes calendar data for educational institutions. Our solution integrates seamlessly with Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook, providing efficient data syncing for schools.
Role Overview: We are seeking a talented UX/UI Design Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This is not a full-time position but a project-based role with the potential for ongoing collaboration. The designer will be responsible for creating and implementing a cohesive design system and delivering high-quality, intuitive page layouts that align with our product vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive design system, including color palettes, typography, iconography, and overall branding guidelines.
Create wireframes and low-fidelity mockups for key application pages and workflows in Figma.
Refine and iterate on designs to deliver high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the design vision is effectively translated into a polished product.
Provide detailed design specifications and assets to the engineering team as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably with enterprise or SaaS products.
Strong proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and design system management.
Demonstrated ability to take concepts from wireframes to high-fidelity designs.
Experience building or contributing to design systems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design choices.
Knowledge of front-end development is a plus but not required.
Contract Details:
Project-based, part-time contract position.
Competitive hourly or project rate, based on experience.
