Evonna Ramirez

My roots in design are deep. My dad started teaching me about impressionist painting, drawing, and design techniques when I was six. As an artist, turned designer, turned general contractor, he roped me into every house project and taught me to always look for the solution. I was also heavily influenced by my mom who was an English buff, insistent on reviewing my work and never letting me get away with a rogue comma. The result is the Peruvian-Italian-American, California-born and raised, medium fearless, problem-solving, wannabe surf-bum Latina designer (with an eye for copy) you know and love today.

I love bright colors and a fun time-period aesthetic but most importantly I am passionate about design that is intentional, makes you feel something, takes time to actually understand humans, and communicates effortlessly. I’m also passionate about traveling, culture, history, delicious foods, nature, fitness, nutrition, unicorns, chickens, and roller-skating…but that’s another story.
